The TEEM Certificate is a comprehensive, two-year, fully asynchronous theological education program designed to equip emerging ministry leaders with the essential competencies required for faithful leadership within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Rooted in the ELCA’s candidacy competencies, this certificate provides accessible and high-quality learning experiences tailored for learners actively engaged in ministry contexts. Through a series of thoughtfully curated courses, learners explore biblical studies, church history, Lutheran confessions, spiritual formation, pastoral care, preaching, administration, and leadership development. The program culminates in field-based learning through Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and internship, offering a holistic and integrated path toward ministry.
